Mending & Clothing Repair Workshop

April 3, 6-8PM at the Greater Denton Arts Council

• Don't buy new, learn to repair & renew! Learning to mend and patch your clothing is a great way to extend the longevity of your clothes and prevent unnecessary textile waste!

• We'll provide some basic hand-sewing supplies, techniques, and assistance. Bring projects and garments to work on! Free!

Native Plant Hike

April 5, 3-5PM at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center, Denton, TX

• Learn about the flora, fauna, and habitats of our natural heritage areas.

• Hike & learn about native plants, ecosystems, and seeds, and how you can help grow more locally adapted natives to help our pollinators!

Milkweed Planting & Prairie Restoration

April 6, 9AM at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center - Collins Prairie

• We received Free Native Milkweeds for Restoration Projects from Monarch Watch! Help us restore the Clear Creek Collins Prairie & Monarch Habitats!
